Stylist Biographies

Stacy Chabot

Stacy believes she is one of the beauty industry's most passionate, real, and energetic hairstylists. Her dedication to her craft is evidenced by her formal training and her consuming desire to be the best. Whether it is redefining an entirely new look or giving a new edge to the classic, she understands that by producing only the best results for her clientele will she grow as a hairstylist. She believes in freedom of style, expression, and the need to create without limits. She works to provide her clients with the knowledge and confidence to ensure they can reproduce and maintain their individual style.

Originally from Alexandria, ON, she decided that in order to make it as an innovative stylist she would move to Ottawa. She enrolled in an apprenticeship program at Algonquin College and graduated in early 2006 from Algonquin College's School for Professional Hairstyling and was officially licensed shortly there after.

Trained in precision cutting and styling, advanced product knowledge and advanced Colour Techniques.

Sylvie Lambert

Customer service is the key to Sylvie's success over her 10 year career as a hair stylist Her detail and willingness to take the timet to understand her clients only serves to enhance her impressive training resume. Sylvie graduated from award-winning Master Stylist created Alternative Hair Design School inn 2000. She has travelled to Los Angeles for advanced techniques from Sebastian and has trained extensively in the Goldwell Colour System including Advanced colour and Cutting Techniques and Trilogy. Sylvie's relaxed nature invites clients to relax and enjoy their time at Blades while she creates the style you desire.

Phylicia Phillips

Blade's newest rising star graduated from Algonquin college with her Hair Design certification in 2008. At 12 years old Phylicia began helping in hair salons and, over time, her curiosity has developed into a full-blown passion. She has a young and fresh approach to hair and the bilingual skills to communicate her ideas to her clients. Motivated to become a brilliant stylist, she has already started down the long road to becoming a certified Master colourist from Goldwell.

Despite her young age she has already completed an impressive list of formal training sessions including:

Phylicia's daily dedication to her education and clients is a constant reminder that her future in hairstyling is indeed bright.

Tammy Prevost

Even with 15 years of practical experience styling hair, formal teaching positions and numerous technical courses, Tammy is still dedicated to learning and mastering her craft. She knows the critical ingredients o her success include taking the time to understand trends and emerging styles and listening to what the client really wants. As a professional, she also understands that clients need advise on their styles and colour choices and stylists must be prepared to five informed answers. Tammy assessed facial and hair structure and also a client's lifestyle when preparing to work. her dedication is centered on providing the best in customer service and that includes education their clients on the may possibilities that exist for their hair and the proper maintenance for the individual's hair needs. her attention to detail, technical skill and ability to understand her clients have earned her many loyal clients but it is her passion for helping people look their best that keeps her behind the chair.

Lisa Quesnel

As a 9th year stylist, Lisa specializes in precision cutting and colouring. Her artistic vision and attention to detail coupled with her easy-going style of communication make discussing new ideas and creating new looks fun and reassuring. her passion for hairstyling pushes her to the cutting edge of innovation and yet keeps her firmly grounded in the fundamentals of her craft. With classed such as Artistic colour Placement and Advanced Creative Cutting to her credit, Lisa will be enhancing her skills this year even more by pursuing her Master colourist certification from Goldwill. Lisa also maintains very specific skills for the application of 100% human hair extensions and specializes in wedding and other special occasion styles.
